Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHC03) treatment method: Add 1 gram of baking soda per liter of fresh seawater, seal and store for one week. Then pour it into the aquarium tank for oxygenation, and a variety of marine life can be raised in a week. How do you calculate how many liters of sea water your aquarium tank has? The calculation method is as follows: length (cm) × width (cm) × height of actual water (cm)/1000: volume of aquarium water (liter). If there is a glass filter tank in the aquarium, you must also add the water capacity of the filter tank. This way you know how much sea water to treat and how many grams of baking soda you need to add.

Copper sulfate (CuSO4) treatment method: Add 5mg of copper sulfate per liter of fresh seawater. After standing for 4 days, the sediments are removed and oxygenated. It can be used after a week. But with this method of sterilization, seawater contains residual copper ions, which is a serious poison to invertebrates. Therefore, only fish can be raised, and other organisms such as crustaceans, shellfish, or mollusks cannot be raised.

High temperature sterilization method: Heat fresh seawater to 80c and cool to normal temperature. It is best to use porcelain or clay pots when heating, and avoid using metal pots. This sterilized seawater can be cultured for another week to grow marine life.
